What Is SensibleAI™?

I'm Jeanette Cozier, VP of Product Marketing, and I'm here with one of our AI experts, Tiffany Ma, who's Director of Product Marketing. Thanks for joining me today. Thanks, Jeanette. It's great to be here. Thanks so much for having me. Let's start at the beginning. Tell the audience what exactly is Sensible AI. We have three solutions currently within our Sensible AI portfolio. The first one is our Sensible AI forecast.

That's really our flagship solution, where it uses machine learning to scan large operational and financial and transactional data sets, both internal and external, and identifies subtle patterns that humans might miss. Now, our entire Sensible AI portfolio is purpose-built for finance. And what that means is you don't need data scientists in order to use this. And we've done this by creating autonomous machine learning or auto ML capabilities within the solutions. So I don't need a data scientist.

And it's user-friendly. Exactly. We found that in the past, a lot of people, especially finance, wasn't adopting AI because that was the biggest barrier, was you needed to have this specialized skill set of understanding how to code in Python or code in R. And these resources, they were rare and scarce, and they were expensive. And so in the end, finance was unable to adopt AI in their processes.

What we built was purpose-built for finance, meaning there's no coding required. Talk to me a little bit more about what you mean by purpose-built. It means it understands all of the financial intelligence that comes with OneStream. It understands the hierarchies that are built within the OneStream platform. In other words, how your organization is structured. And so because of that, it's finance-focused.

All the things that finance and accounting users need to know to complete their day-to-day jobs, our AI capabilities have that embedded into their functionality. And that sounds really powerful over, let's say, if I took some generic AI tool, if I wanted to even, I don't know, try ChatGPT or Copilot and put it on top of one of my platforms, it wouldn't have that context. That's exactly right. Our second solution is Sensible AI Studio.

It really is just OneStream's AI hub. So on one end, it's a library of AI algorithms that can be used by users as a plug-and-play AI capability within their flow of work. Additionally, we package these algorithms, or what we call routines, together to create turnkey solutions that are available for users to access directly in their flow of work as well. So things like AI account reconciliations, AI narrative summarizer, AI data tools, a bunch of different turnkey solutions are available within Studio. So we talked about Forecast.

We talked about Studio. So the third part of OneStream's Sensible AI portfolio is agents. Can you tell me a little bit more about that? Agents are financially intelligent AI assistants. They're basically built directly into the OneStream platform.

They're meant to act as digital teammates. And unlike general purpose AI tools, they're designed to perform specific financial and operation tasks directly within the OneStream's workflows that our users already trust and know. What is OneStream's vision for infusing AI into its platform? OneStream's AI strategy really centers around embedding AI machine learning throughout the unified platform.

Because AI performs best on a unified data model rather than fragmented point solutions, embedding AI through the other ones. Embedding AI through OneStream's single governed data model really produces more accurate, trustworthy, and scalable results. Starting with sensible AI forecasts, we're seeing on average across our customers an implementation time of 12 to 16 weeks. So again, that's weeks as opposed to months or years. And with these quick deployments, we're seeing for all our customers, we're able to very quickly prove out value and ROI for an individual use case.

And then quickly expand out to many other use cases within the organization. Next with sensible AI agents, these financially intelligent digital assistants are embedded directly into the OneStream platform and they're accessed anywhere within your workflows. And then lastly for Studio, the goal really was to deploy production grade data science capability faster than anyone else in the world.

Studio really is the definition of AI extensibility. Every day it seems like there's a new opportunity to deploy with AI. There's always the next best AI model and best practice. It's constantly changing. And Studio's infinitely extensible solution is the answer to that. As we rapidly develop and deploy AI capabilities throughout the platform.
