OneStream Splash 2025 Recap: Welcome to the Finance AI Era
CFOs are navigating a perfect storm of increasing expectations and economic volatility. As a result, finance leaders are increasingly prioritizing solutions that offer greater predictability, more agility, and increased productivity and efficiency.
The OneStream Splash North American User Conference kicked off in Nashville with this backdrop fueling the narrative about artificial intelligence (AI) in finance. There, we showcased over 20 innovations designed to help finance leaders achieve greater predictability, agility, and efficiency. Couldn’t attend the event? Here’s a recap of the key innovations we highlighted at Splash.
Finance AI Enhancing Business Predictability
Front and center were updates and additions to our SensibleAI™ Portfolio, including SensibleAI Agents, SensibleAI Studio, SensibleAI Account Reconciliations, and SensibleAI Forecast.
- SensibleAI Agents are AI-powered chat assistants that not only retrieve, deeply analyze, and visualize data, but also execute tasks. Embedded directly into the platform, SensibleAI Agents operate within existing or new workflows and data models. The agents leverage the security framework OneStream customers already know and trust. To gain actionable insights across data and workflows, users of all technical levels can use natural language to gain actionable insights. SensibleAI Agents are currently available under private preview.
- SensibleAI Studio is a growing library of 30+ plug-and-play, quantitative, and generative AI routines that users can activate within the OneStream platform or directly through application programming interfaces (APIs). Through SensibleAI Studio, finance teams are empowered to detect anomalies, summarize variances, and optimize system performance using Applied AI capabilities. Users can explore and analyze data in plain language and streamline reporting, reconciliation, and decision-making. SensibleAI Studio is expected to be generally available in June 2025.
- SensibleAI Account Reconciliations is powered by SensibleAI Studio. Through this solution, users leverage AI to detect anomalies and flag risks — such as unusual adjustments or missing documentation — early in the close process. The solution reduces manual effort, improves compliance, and helps finance teams refine policies over time for a faster, more accurate, and more controlled close. SensibleAI Account Reconciliations will have limited availability in late Q2.
- SensibleAI Forecast(formerly Sensible ML) is a no-code, AI-powered forecasting solution embedded in the OneStream platform. With SensibleAI Forecast, the company’s proven ML-based forecasting engine is combined with new generative capabilities. The revamped solution allows finance teams to quickly model different scenarios and constraints, pulling forecasts up or down. To strengthen real-time analysis and decision-making, teams can also create narrative commentary that provides the context behind the forecast.
Throughout the OneStream platform, SensibleAI solutions are infused across all planning and forecasting, close and consolidation, and reporting and analytics processes. These solutions help finance leaders navigate uncertainty, identify risks sooner, run what-if scenarios, uncover more insights, and drive confident decisions faster. Learn more here.
Powering Up the Platform
While helping customers enhance predictability via SensibleAI Portfolio is important, we also continue to invest in new OneStream platform capabilities that help improve productivity. These innovations include a suite of new Productivity Tools, a certified Power BI Connector integration with Microsoft Fabric, and the release of Version 9 of the OneStream Platform.
OneStream Productivity Tools are designed to help finance teams move faster, reduce reliance on technical resources, and gain deeper insights with less effort. The tools include the following:
- Allocations: A no-code solution that empowers teams to build and manage allocation models with ease — no technical expertise required. Finance professionals gain full control and visibility over allocation logic to improve transparency and speed.
- Analytic Drill-Down: A dynamic interface enabling front-line users to simultaneously drill into multiple dimensions for real-time variance analysis — reducing the number of clicks required and accelerating decision-making.
- Admin Assist: A suite of over 35 powerful reports and utilities that simplify security, metadata, and performance management — freeing up administrators to focus on higher-value tasks.
Building on last year’s release of the OneStream Certified Microsoft Power BI Connector, we’re extending its reach into the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. Users can now natively combine and analyze OneStream data alongside other enterprise sources in Microsoft Fabric. As a result, new insights are unlocked across the business — all within an end-to-end, intelligent solution used by most finance leaders.
We also announced the general availability of Version 9 of our platform. This release reflects OneStream’s continued investment in performance, scalability, and analytics — equipping customers to do more with data, streamline financial operations, and confidently navigate uncertainty. Plug-and-Play Capabilities for Ease of Use
With the power of all that’s built into the platform, we have also been investing in capabilities that help our customers drive efficiency across their teams. The key innovations we highlighted here include Express Rapid Deployment solutions and the general availability of OneStream Genesis.
Express Rapid Deployment solutions package decades of best practices into a fast-track offering with pre-built and defined templates, reports, and charts of accounts. This innovation also offers guided configuration for rapid deployment and ease of use.
Over 10 organizations have already leveraged our pre-configured corporate performance management (CPM) platform — CPM Express — to accelerate implementations of OneStream down to 6 – 8 weeks. Now, we’re extending these packaged offerings into a rapid deployment methodology to simplify and speed the time-to-value for more flexible and complex deployments.
OneStream Genesis provides a plug-and-play, no-code architecture; click-to-configure designer; and a live, ever-expanding library of high-value blocks of functionality designed for finance. With these capabilities, Genesis revolutionizes how finance teams design and deploy new financial and operational models, launch new planning processes, and enhance reporting and analysis.
With Genesis, finance teams have the speed, simplicity, and flexibility to adapt and grow without the constraints of traditional configuration processes.
