At Splash 2026, OneStream announced general availability of SensibleAI™ Agents and a new Finance Agentic Layer built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This move lets Finance teams running on SAP ERP use tools such as Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini against governed financial data, without losing role-based access, audit trails, or SOX controls. Every query runs against a single, unified data model, and every output traces back to the source data and logic behind it. For SAP customers still on R/3, ECC, or mid-migration to S/4HANA, the CPM layer lets Finance adopt governed agentic AI now, independent of the ERP roadmap.
