Why Onestream Can Be Deployed Before or in Parallel with an SAP S/4HANA Migration

Many SAP Finance teams delay planning and consolidation upgrades until after their SAP S/4HANA migration finishes, assuming it's the safer sequence. However, SAPinsider research shows that this wait often lasts longer than expected: 55% of organizations have deployed SAP S/4HANA, but only 34% have fully switched daily operations to it, and 42% still take more than eight days to close. The takeaway for CIOs and Finance leaders is to treat planning and consolidation as landscape-agnostic infrastructure, deployed before or alongside SAP S/4HANA, not after it.
